Not only is she passionate about photography, but her passion for people, all kinds of people, enables her to create beautiful, memorable images that her clients will cherish forever.
This passion for photography is reflected in Colleen's ability to use her camera to capture people in the best possible light, pose and setting. Probably more important, her passion for people is reflected in her ability to make them relax, enjoy the moment and reveal the personality and beauty inherent in each individual.
Colleen is patient, good-humored and willing to spend the time required to capture the images necessary to deliver a client the treasured memory sought.
She prides herself on giving clients many choices. The comment she often hears is "How will I ever choose from all of these?"
Her passion for her work is reflected in her statement that, "I am one of those lucky people who gets up every morning excited to go to work. I am blessed to play an active role in the lives of my clients. I love investing my life in capturing memories for others."
Colleen has been photographing people, many of whom have become personal friends, for over 20 years. In the words of Tracey Huff, a recent client, and now a friend, "Hey, I forgot…people are SO jazzed about the kids’ portraits. I’ve given your name out to a few people but I need to do a better job at doing better referrals. I’ll focus on that.

Colleen is a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada, and the Professional Photographers of British Columbia. She has been recognized for her artistic imagery. Twice, Colleen has been awarded Best Portrait on Vancouver Island.
She has also recieved the trophy for Best Wedding Portrait Vancouver Island, trophy for highest scoring submission, best group portrait in BC and recievied her Craftsman of Photography in Quebec City in 2003.
However, the "award" that means the most to her is the expression of satisfaction from her clients. It is Colleen's hope that her passion for photography and passion for people will open your eyes to the priceless value of each passing day and persuade you to allow her to create a memory of today to be cherished forever.
