Colleen is a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada, and the Professional Photographers of British Columbia. She has been recognized for her artistic imagery.

Twice, Colleen has been awarded Best Portrait on Vancouver Island. She has also recieved the trophy for Best Wedding Portrait Vancouver Island, trophy for highest scoring submission, best group portrait in BC and recievied her Craftsman of Photography in Quebec City in 2003.
